Contents:
- Explore, combat and solve puzzles. Find new abilities to progress through the 2-3 hours long level
- Saving system to store your progresses available
- Adaptive music tracks
- 5 power-ups to be found on the map
- 10 story notes
- Several useful items to look for
- 3 combat arena
- 1 boss battle
----------------------------------------------------------
Known Issues:
- We developed a saving system! However, it's still not completely tested, due to lack of time. If you experience any problems with the savings, let us know!
- We are aware of a rare bug where the game may get stuck in combat (you'll notice this if the combat music doesn't stop after killing all enemies). This prevents interaction with certain elements and may eventually block your progress. If this occurs, the solution is, unfortunately, to die on purpose. This will reset the bug.
- Sometimes, during the fourth phase of the final boss, the boss doesn't spawn. The only solution is dying and trying again

After about three hours of gameplay, I finished the Blood Curse demo, and I have to say it’s a very fun game to play. Even though it’s still in the demo stage, the game feels solid and runs smoothly. After a short introduction to your hero’s story, you’re thrown into a world where you’ll need to fight different types of enemies. The combat system is quite well-designed, with a mix of attacks, dodges, and blocks. On top of that, you can use amulets, items you’ll find around the map that give you different bonuses depending on the one you pick.
During your journey, you will also encounter various gods from ancient Rome who will grant you supernatural powers to help you progress in your mission. Besides the different enemies you’ll face, the game includes various puzzles scattered around the world that will require a good amount of creativity to solve. The adventure will end in a battle against a fearsome final boss that will truly put your skills to the test.
The game has several strengths such as: The music, which fits perfectly with the game and is appropriate for every situation you will find yourself in The combat system, which I found very fun to play and challenging enough The final boss, a very well designed enemy, with a variety of attacks and an epic rendering that enhances the overall experience and everything will be accompanied by a soundtrack that will go in time with the different phases of the boss (your curses will be rewarded with a nice final satisfaction when you beat the boss)
As regards, the points to review would be: the story, which I found without a real narrative thread, a bit scattered here and there, even if I find the plot interesting, I would go and review the way in which it is told. The blood, I think it's too much blood released by the enemies, which makes it too easy to deal with the enemies Finally, I didn't like the possibility of using a special ability to create passages in walls, as it was confusing and not very intuitive, unnecessarily complicating exploration. Blood Curse is certainly not a revolutionary game but for the short time it lasts as it is still in the demo phase my advice is to at least try it
Thank you very much for your feedback! Glad you finished the game, I appreciate a lot! We'll keep working on the game and improving the more problematic aspects
Woah this is so cool!
Thank you very much for playing!
